The Brief

This client asked me to draw a portrait of her dog George. As you can see his eyes really are the window to his soul. To be able to capture the essence of the subject is something very important to me.

The Results

The result was a drawing which almost has a “3D” characteristic to it. The lighting had to be correct from 3 different angles, all of which made this a challenging but enjoyable picture to draw. You can really see the life in the George’s eyes. The photo realistic element shows clearly in this drawing.
