The  Brief

I have had many requests from people to draw all sorts of different hypercars. The McLaren Senna had just been released. Being a specialist of automotive drawing I have mainly drawn classic cars. I felt this was a good time to draw something more space age and was taken with the futuristic lines of this car.

 

The Result

The result was 22 hours of drawing which fully convey the power of this car. I wanted this to be a contrast of simple lines intermingled with some fine details. Getting the tone, reflection and colouring is crucial on a drawing with no background as a reference. The whole subject of the drawing has to be accurate if it is to be on its own.
