The Brief
The car owners’ wife contacted me to draw a picture of her husbands’ car for his birthday, as he had seen my work at one of the car shows I had attended. She sent me a selection of pictures of the car for me to select the best one to draw.
The Result
This is another car that took over 30 hours to complete. I decided it was best to draw the car with a full background so I could create the reflection detail on the car. This kept the detail on the car in context so you could fully see and understand what was being reflected on the bodywork. I like to include these details in my pictures to capture the realistic qualities.
